These are some of my favorite photographs taken during 2015.
We have a great beanfield that borders the north edge of our property. I suddenly realized it was July and I had not been to the beanfield yet.
I was treated to another great sunrise at the cornfield down the road a few days ago. This was made with a handheld pointNshoot.

We hung prints and canvas gallery wraps today for a July and August exhibit at the Mississippi River Distillery Art Gallery in LeClaire, Iowa. (click any photograph for a larger view slide show)
The secret is out! The Best Bald Eagle Photography Site in the World is in Iowa along the Mississippi River. Where?? Lock and Dam 14, which is 3 miles South of Le Claire, Iowa.
Bald Eagle Photography starts to warm up in December and is at its peak during January to Mid February.

Bennett competed in the IHSMA Large Group Festival with the Pleasant Valley (PV) String Orchestra, PV Orchestra, and PV Concert Band conducted by Robert Swinney (Orchestra Director) on May 3 and 4th.
The String Orchestra received a I or Superior Rating
Bennett plays the Bass Fiddle that belonged to his Great Grandfather, Bob Roudabush.

The PVHS Orchestra performed after the String Orchestra and also received a I or Superior rating.
Bennett plays the Tuba with the PVHS Concert Band. PVHS has the largest band in the State of Iowa and had 4 separate bands competing. Bennetts band received a II or Excellent rating.
Bennett had a loyal fan club there to enjoy his performances. Members of the fan club present were: Marie Roudabush (Great Grandmother), Burt and Marilyn Gearhart (Grandparents), Christine Cournoyer (Mother), Chase and Tanner Cournoyer (Brothers).
It rained all night and most of today. I made a trip to LD14 about 2:30pm while it was still raining. Only birds in the area were a few gulls. No eagles in trees on highway, no eagles in eagle trees, and no eagles in the eagle trees. No photographers
